Mission Statement:

The Micro Enterprise Program celebrates individuals’ abilities by creating support networks which empower each person to attain their highest level of independence, generate income, and become a part of the communities they live in.

Who we are & what we do:

The Kent County Micro Enterprise Program is a community-wide support network for aspiring entrepreneurs. Network 180 provides funding and guidance through coordination and micro-loans. Partnering agencies are Thresholds Inc, Goodwill Industries, Spectrum Community Services, MOKA Corporation, and Hope Network.

As Micro Enterprise Specialists, our role is to:

~ develop and train support networks for Micro Enterprise owners.

~ provide coordination, support, and guidance to local Micro Enterprises that are owned and operated by individuals with disabilities.

~ provide support through training and consultation in business plan writing, feasibility of business concepts, funding, marketing and sales, among other things.

Who we serve:

We serve supports and individuals with developmental disabilities that are in our partnering agency programs. These programs include Supported Employment, Skill Building, and Alternative Day Services.
